Job Description:


The ​​AFSCN Requirements Analyst SME will provide general AFSCN, MOU/MOA, requirements development and POM PEM support.
(1) Provide technical expertise/recommendations/requirements development to S5M for AFSCN and future SATOPS Transmit/Receive (Tx/Rx) employment/modernization/initiatives.
(2) Support/conduct meetings/telecons; prepare/provide briefings, talking points/papers.
(3) Develop/Review/Coordinate AFSCN and future SATOPS Tx/Rx (i.e. Resilient Enterprise Ground (REG)/Ground Enterprise Next (GEN)) documents.
(4) Analyze/Recommend proposed changes impacting AFSCN and future SATOPS Tx/Rx architecture/policy/ guidance/employment concept/specifications/upgrade/sustainment programs/requirements.
(5) Conduct sustainment engineering analyses/assessments of AFSCN and future SATOPS Tx/Rx communication/range/network management segment hardware/software; analyze/determine correct location and scope.
(6) Attend architecture/integration/configuration management meetings.
(7) Recommend inputs/changes to HQ USSF PEC Execution Plans; analyze/recommend response to annual GAO inquiries.
(8) Assist in execution of S5M PEM tasks; provide POM/yearly execution support.
(9) Analyze/Develop/Update POM briefing with recommended HQ USSF position; identify/determine impact of offsets/disconnects/initiatives.
(10) Maintain continuous situational awareness of wing/SMC/HQ USSF/HAF/OSD/ Congressional actions on S5M programs to quickly support program/budget analysis.
(11) Coordinate with appropriate HAF PEM to explain/advocate/provide inputs on AFSCN PE operations/budget/future plans in response to queries; brief HQ USSF/S5M on AFSCN PE budget/policy/political issues.


Experience and Skills:

5 years AFSCN experience with 5 years HAF/AFSPC/ COCOM; SATOPS and programmatic expertise, including demonstrated:
- Proficiency in AFSCN Communications/Range/Network Segment O&M sustainment, and modernization/acquisition efforts
- Proficiency in SATOPS, including mission data recovery, spacecraft/payload TT&C and C2
- Proficiency with AFSCN Contingency CONOPS/ARP
- Proficiency with ongoing AFSCN Range Segment modernization projects (i.e., RBC-Hybrid, EHPA)
- Proficiency with ESD 2.7 migration and assessment of alternatives (e.g., MIDAS, NRL Neptune)
- Proficiency with ABSS/FMSuite/CRIS/RAPIDS/CAFDex pivot tables
- Proficiency with PPBE/AFSPC IPP/AF SP3processes/products
- Proficiency with AFSPC Concept Development process (AFI 10-2801/AFSPC Sup)
- Proficiency with TMT tasker processing and AFSPC staffing

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Master's Degree, preferably technical

Security Clearance: TS/SCI eligible, U.S. Citizen
