Job Description:

​Sigmatech is currently seeking an AFSCN Planning Analyst SME to provide general AFSCN, MOU/MOA and strategic planning/concept support.

Responsibilities of the AFSCN Planning Analyst include: 

  • Provide technical expertise/recommendations to S3/6R for AFSCN employment/ sustainment/modernization/initiatives.
  • Support/conduct meetings/telecons; prepare/provide briefings, talking points/papers.
  • Develop/Review/Coordinate AFSCN and associated Resilient Enterprise Ground (REG)/Ground Enterprise Next (GEN) documents.
  •  Recommend inputs/changes to HQ USSF PEC Execution Plans; analyze/recommend response to annual GAO inquiries.
  • Maintain continuous situational awareness of wing/SMC/HQ USSF/HAF/OSD/ Congressional actions on LRN programs to quickly support program analysis.
  • Develop/Review/Coordinate operational/systems concepts focused on operational SATOPS ground capabilities
  • Support strategic planning activities

Experience and Skills:

  • Master's Degree, preferably technical, current (less than three years old) ADLS
  • Financial Book of Knowledge training
  • 5 years AFSCN experience with 5 years HAF/USSF/ COCOM; SATOPS and programmatic expertise, including demonstrated:
  • Proficiency mediating network disputes involving more than one service provider
  • Proficiency with current/planned AFSCN modifications (e.g. RBC Hybrid, ESD, EHPA, ARTS-RBC transition)
  • Proficiency with TMT tasker processing and USSF/AFSPC staffing
  • Knowledge of radar operations and analysis of EIRP, Max/Min dBm, modulations, orbitology
  • Knowledge of Air Force organizational structure and AFSCN stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Strategic Planning Processes
  • Proficiency with USSF/AFSPC Concept Development process (AFI 10-2801/AFSPC Sup)
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
