Job Description:

Sigmatech has an immediate need for an Acquisition Management Subject Matter Expert to support the PEO Aviation program in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities include:

Provide programmatic support including cost/schedule analysis and recommendations

As part of a team, identify, deploy, and manage actions to achieve excellence in PEO Aviation's programs, policies, and processes.

Support document preparation of acquisition milestone objectives.

Document management and configuration control; Maintain program files in accordance with policy.

Assist with tracking metrics that cover program assessment, acquisition support, and acquisition workforce parameters.

Assist with analysis of existing processes to provide recommendations for streamlining acquisition practices.

Provide administrative/technical support to conferences, briefings, meetings, working groups, and integrated product teams (IPTs).

Provide guidance to technical personnel involved in the development of the statement of work or data requirements in terms of regulation.

Assist with acquisition strategy planning, requirement reviews, Assist with the review of SOW development, and source selection support.

Assure timely submission of required reports.

Experience and Skills:

BS/BA from accredited college or university, in a relevant field of study, and 17 years of related experience.

Expert knowledge of DoD 5000 Series Acquisition Processes.

Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills- Attention to details is critical

Must have strong analytical, planning follow-up and organizational skills

Must be able to work independently, but in a group environment, be self-motivated and demonstrate 'excellent' customer service skills

Team-oriented - will be working closely in group setting

Ideal candidate will have recent and relevant experience gained from Military/civilian service and be adept at briefing mid and senior staff personnel.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
