We are currently seeking an experience Configuration Management Specialist to support the CTSF in Ft Hood, TX.
The CTSF is an Army strategic asset and is the CIO/G6 Execution Agent for Army Interoperability Certification (AIC) Testing, and the Army Configuration Management Office (ACMO) responsible for maintaining the configuration management database and CM repository of the Army’s LandWarNet Mission Command software baselines
The selected individuals will support the Government in designing, developing, establishing, executing, and maintaining an adaptable, flexible, scalable, and reliable C4ISR products, services and communications architecture designed to facilitate the access, definition, management, security, and integrity of data/information within the CTSF and to the extent possible, at test sites connected via the DREN for the purposes of AIC testing. They will also support Engineering Services to design and implement a SOS architecture necessary to achieve CIO/G6 approval for certification testing or ASA (ALT) for LWN MC system development efforts.
These individuals will support Engineering Services in the design and implementation of Command Post hardware and software system of systems architectures to support Corps and below Command Post Exercises, technical insertion, prototyping, and training. Operational Mission Threads, Test Threads, Test Procedures, and Test Plans
Other duties may include:
- Providing configuration control for the Army Interoperability Certification (AIC) test environments and change management (ChM) for the Army’s certified Interoperable Baselines, including firmware and related documentation
- Providing traceability, accountability and distribution for Army software products
- Performing the daily CM and Configuration Control (CC) actions necessary to maintain the integrity of the AIC test floors, Systems Engineering labs, and Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) updates to fielded software in preparation for distribution to the field.
- Managing the Configuration Management Data Base Management System used by the CTSF. Provide recommended upgrades and software changes to the system, to ensure its continued operation.
