****THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD AND FUNDING****

We have a potential opening for a Senior Systems Engineer (Trail Boss) to act as the ​PM representative on the ground during ‎a PM sponsored event. This includes all installation efforts regardless of the duration. Examples of sponsored events include: Site Surveys, Installations, accreditation events, etc. The Trail Boss is also responsible for all pre-coordination with the unit and the associated POCs. They provide daily updates to the PM during events and provide operational support when not providing direct support to a sponsored event.

Expected to support the design, integration, configuration, and analysis of complex software systems, military electronics, computer networking, and digital and graphic display systems.

Provides engineering and technical assistance to support the system objectives and ensures an integrated approach to product delivery into the DCGS-A enterprise. In addition, the individual shall assist in the Government coordination of efforts with Operational Units, Army Centers of Excellence (COEs), Program of Records (PORs), Quick Reaction Capabilities (QRCs), Science & Technology community and industry partners. These coordinated efforts will support the integration and fielding of products across the objective DCGS-A Enterprise.

Experience and Skills:

Required qualifications include:

Bachelor Degree: Degree may be systems, computer science, computer engineering, electrical, industrial or mechanical engineering or related field.

A minimum of 10 years related work experience is required.

May substitute with Masters degree and 12 or more years related experience.

Experience with Department of Defense System Engineering processes.

The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required.
