Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced TUAS Production Engineer to serve as a production engineer for major end items, subsystems and components for PM UAS.

Provide expertise to the PM Office on new production line start up and risks associated with new production starts.

Contribute to manufacturing audits at a prime contractor and subcontractor production lines and be able to identify manufacturing risks to the PM Office.

Apply engineering processes to resolution of production issues and failure investigations from a production perspective.

Address producibility and production requirements in support of design reviews and other technical activities.

Knowledge of evaluating engineering change proposals for production considerations and impacts with the ability of evaluating them from a systems engineering perspective.

Manage production contracts IAW the PWS including interaction on a regular basis with the contractor production staff and provide performance information.

Experience and Skills:

Required qualifications include:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Physics required.

- Aviation experience strongly desired; Unmanned Aircraft experience desired.

- 5+ years of Production experience required, 10+ years desired.

- Contracting and Industry Production experience desired.

- Possess strong communication skills; oral and written.

- Possess a proven ability to develop and provide reports to management.

- PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook skills required.

- US Citizenship is required. Must have knowledge of electronic and mechanical manufacturing processes as well as integration and a basic knowledge of materials.

- Must be familiar with the development and evaluation of contracts requirements packages, including the development of Performance Work Statements (PWS), and requests for proposals including technical evaluations of contractor proposals for production efforts.

- Knowledge of quality requirements and quality systems is desirable..

The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required.
